I'm Simone (most people call me Sim), a Harpenden mum of four. Going out to work for someone else was never going to fit around four children, so I decided to build something of my own, doing what I love: making children smile. That's honestly how it all began, balloons in exchange for smiles.
There's a moment I never get tired of: the excitement just before a big day, whether it's a first birthday or a wedding. Getting to be a small part of that is the best job I could ask for.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and I only make balloons I'd be happy to receive myself. They're high quality and made to last, and everything is handmade right here in Harpenden.

Yes, I deliver around Harpenden and the surrounding areas, often the evening before your event. Delivery is worked out from your postcode (a small charge based on distance), and it's free on orders over £50 within my local area. You're always welcome to collect too.
The more notice the better, as it means I can order in stock and get exactly what you're after. I can often help with last-minute requests too, but colours and options may be a little more limited depending on what I have in.
No minimum at all. Whether it's one special balloon or a full arch, I'm happy to help.
Absolutely. I'm very flexible on colours, and if you're not sure what will work, just ask. I love helping people pick something they'll be thrilled with.
For balloon arches and towers, I come and set it all up for you so it looks perfect. Smaller pieces can be delivered locally or collected, whichever suits you.
Number and age towers are hugely popular, personalised bubble balloons are a lovely gift, and arches and garlands are perfect for bigger celebrations.
Cash or bank transfer, on or after delivery. Nice and simple.
A few little tips to keep your balloons looking their best for the big day.
Your helium latex balloons float beautifully for around 3 days. I treat them with Hi-Float so they last as long as they possibly can, and foil numbers and bubbles will happily float for a week or more.
These are air-filled, so they don't float, and that means they last much longer. You can expect them to look lovely for a week or two, often longer.
Heat and direct sunlight are a balloon's enemy, and they'll expand in a hot car or conservatory. Keep them somewhere cool, out of the sun, and away from anything sharp.
Pop them inside, unpack them to check they've travelled well, and keep them at room temperature until you need them. They'll be ready and waiting for the celebration.
